Description:Our Economics and Politics degree combines the study of two social sciences, providing you with a deep understanding of global markets and political systems.

Economics is based on a series of core units in the first and second years covering economics and econometrics, as well as optional units - one in the second year and three in the final year. Popular options in the current year included: behavioural economics, environmental economics, political economy, the history of economic thought, industrial economics, international economics, labour economics, and macroeconomic theory and policy. Bristol has an impressive reputation for teaching and research in politics and international relations. You will study the politics of individual countries and governments, and the relationships between countries, communities and individuals. Politics is organised around three themes: political theory, comparative and national politics, and international relations.
